Initial SEO On-Page
This is where we really lay down the foundation and the building blocks for your advanced SEO to come. We add keywords to the website, write title and meta descriptions that are displayed with your search results, create internal links throughout your site for easier navigation, create friendly URLs (truncated URLs that make your site more efficient for Google to index), and add alt text (info that goes with an image, which allows the seeing impaired to know what pictures are displayed on a site). This is the initial setup before we tweak and add more SEO practices when the website is launched and we have more data.
SEO On-Page Management
In the "old" days of performing SEO, most techniques focused on technical issues associated with your website. This is still true, to some extent, today. We follow "white hat" best practices in line with SEO leaders such as MOZ SEO. Depending on your unique situation, we may do some or all of the following at some point in your SEO subscription:
- Title and Meta descriptions
- Schema tags
- Rich snippet optimization
- Headline optimization
- Image optimization
Technical Optimization
Our technical team will audit your website with our crawling tools to gauge how well your current website is performing. We will examine hundreds of elements ranging from metadata and schema to domain authority and backlinks.
Off-Page
While what's on your website and the business directories is important for local SEO, what's off the website is equally important. Your site's quality is largely determined by the quality of the sites linking to it. As a result, it is extremely important to analyze the backlink profile of your site and identify opportunities for improvement. Reviews are also considered an off-page factor. The more reviews you have on Google and other top directories such as Yelp and Facebook, the more prominent your brand, increasing trust with Google and your users.
Keyword Ranking
Where does your website currently rank? Our SEO team takes your approved keyword list and optimizes your site’s pages with them to appear more prominently in Google Search, Google Mobile, and Google Maps.
Duplicate and Thin Content
Your site has duplicate content if multiple pages contain the same (or nearly the same) content. Unfortunately, these pages can be both internal and external (i.e., hosted on a different domain). We will also check for pages with low quality or low word counts.
Set Up GSC, GA, Bing Webmaster, Local Pics
GSC - Google Search Console. This is where we can upload a sitemap and monitor linking sites. We can disavow links that are erroneous or malicious and make sure Google is properly indexing your website.
GA - Google Analytics. We use the Google Analytics account to monitor all website data and metrics. This makes it easy to spot problems and monitor year over year data.
Bing Webmaster - This is the backside of your Bing account. We can upload the site’s sitemap to Bing as a best practice for getting traffic from this search engine.
Local Pics - We set you up on our photo software that will text you reminders to upload photos to your Google My Business account. You can directly text this number back with your photos, and it will upload the pics automatically to your account!
Bing/Yelp Claim/Verify/Optimize (One Time)
We claim and verify your Bing and Yelp account. We do a one-time optimization, to ensure the business information is correct and then we can upload photos if needed.
Citation Management/Cleanup
We monitor your business citations (a reference to your company), so basically any time your NAP information (Name, Address, Phone number) is mentioned across the web—we make sure the business info is accurate and we submit changes when it is not. We also acquire citations and data aggregators, which help spread your business information throughout the web.
GMB Claim/Verify/Optimize
If you don’t have a Google My Business account, we will claim the profile and optimize it for you. We’ll add new pictures, make sure business info is correct, add service categories, we can create google posts, and we always make sure we adapt your account to Google’s changing algorithms.
Automated Customer Review Platform
You can send us a list of your client’s first/last name with email addresses, and we can take that list and put it into our review software. This software sends them a request to leave a Google review.
Fresh Content
Your website is a living, breathing entity on the internet. Every update you make to your website once it is "live" on the internet plays a part in its interaction with visitors, customers, and the powerful search engines. A static website without updates of any kind may be viewed by search engines as a "dead" entity - with no life and nothing new to offer. Depending on your results, we may develop localized content, typically with blogs or FAQs, to keep your content fresh and interesting. And, if you still need an extra boost, we will find opportunities for backlinks from other websites.
