The Sales Funnel
Closely related to the customer journey, the sales funnel is a way of keeping track of where people are in their customer journey with you.
The top part of the funnel (ToFu), stands for Top of Funnel. This part of the funnel is for building awareness about your product or service, which focuses on getting the attention of potential customers during or before they are even looking to buy.
The middle part (MoFu), stands for Middle of Funnel. This is for generating leads and collecting contact information from potential customers. Here, we are pulling in interested customers and asking them to take action which will lead to potential sales.
The bottom part (Bofu), means Bottom of Funnel. This is where we focus on nurturing the customers you already have to make sure they’re satisfied enough to provide repeat business and referrals. Sometimes, the best promotion is a happy customer.
